About Haven Carpets & Flooring
Haven Carpets & Flooring has been supplying and fitting floors across Liverpool for the past few years, working out of our showroom on Aigburth Road in Dingle. We’re still a young business, but we’ve built our whole process around getting the basics right: checking the floor properly before quoting, and putting everything in writing before any work starts. No call centre, no national head office. Just a local team who measure, quote and fit the floors ourselves.
Why We Started Checking Floors Properly
Most flooring problems don’t come from the carpet, the laminate or the LVT itself. They come from what’s underneath it, and from quotes that don’t say clearly what they cover. We’ve seen enough jobs go wrong for exactly those two reasons, an unlevel subfloor nobody checked, or an “extra” that only appeared once the fitting was already booked, that we built our whole process around avoiding both.
Every job starts with checking the floor, not just measuring the room. And every quote we give states what’s included in writing, before you agree to anything.
Meet Muhammad Mehhi, Owner and Founder
I’ve been working in flooring for five years now, on the tools, in people’s homes, learning what actually makes a floor last and what causes problems down the line. I opened the Haven showroom on Aigburth Road in 2025, but the reasons behind starting it go back further than that. I was tired of seeing the same two things go wrong on flooring jobs, again and again: nobody checking what was actually under the old floor before quoting, and quotes that left things out until they suddenly appeared on the final bill.
I wanted a business where you know exactly what you’re getting before you agree to anything, and where the floor gets checked properly, not just measured. That’s still how we work now, whether it’s one bedroom carpet or a full house.
If you’re getting quotes for new flooring, I’d genuinely rather you ask us the awkward questions upfront, what’s included, what happens if the floor underneath isn’t right, than find out halfway through the job. That’s the whole reason Haven exists.

Where We Work
Our showroom is in Dingle, but we fit across Liverpool and the wider region, including Allerton & Mossley Hill, Kirkby, Southport, Birkenhead, Runcorn, Wallasey, Widnes and St Helens. Whether it’s a period terrace, a family semi or a new-build flat, the floor underneath is never quite what the surface suggests, so we check it properly wherever the job is.

- Free home measure – we visit, measure the room, and check what’s underneath where we can access it.
- Samples brought to you, or seen in the showroom – so you can compare colours and textures in your own light, not just under shop lighting.
- A clear, written quote – stating exactly what’s included: materials, fitting, underlay, grippers, trims, uplift, prep and waste disposal.
- Fitting – done properly, with any floor preparation explained before it happens, not discovered halfway through the job.
- A finished floor you don’t have to think about again.
